This section is a collection of art entirely done in pixels.

What I love most about creating pieces in pixels is its primary need for the artist to work within restrictions. On one hand you can utilize every block to make an image as recognizable as possible, and on the other you can strip the image down to the most simple shapes possible and still have it perfectly resemble what you need to

The following are stills from my proof of concepts for a point-and-click adventure based upon J.R.R. Tolkien's, "The Hobbit." (To see them in motion, be sure to check out my collection of Pixel Animation)

Working in different dimensions and different color palettes was very rewarding as I felt that the project benefitted from having varying tones for each chapter the mockups represented.

This is an exercise in which I recreated some of my favorite album covers in pixels in order to practice my skills in utilizing color and form, and if breaking down the original artwork to minimalized pixels would make the art pop more.

I believe that the reinterpretation of the respective albums not only enhances the compositions of the originals, but completely reinvents the tone for all of them.
