Hi! I'm Christopher MacDonald, a London based animator and artist, but I'm originally from Boston, Massachusetts! In addition to creating art, I enjoy studying the history of film and listening to folk music. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and spending long nights playing board games.

 

I was born on the coast of Massachusetts, and so the surrounding nautical aesthetic of my hometown has always been a constant motif in my art.

In addition, being raised in the birthplace of America, a lot of my art is influenced by Americana iconography and its presence works as a lens in which I help the audience experience the stories I write. There's a hint of nostalgia in everything I do, and my fascination with retro aesthetics generally boils down to the sheer hilarity I find in the silliness of the way things used to look, which adds an extra layer to the humor in the art that I make.
